Uganda’s Bigodi Swamp sanctuary & Rwanda’s Nyungwe Forest

If you are passionate about primates, you will just love Uganda. Eleven different types of monkeys exist in Uganda. From the Colobus and the Grey Cheeked Mangabey to Golden Monkeys and Chimpanzees. Trekking them on foot through forest and jungle or spotting them from your safari truck within the incredible wilderness of the national parks is a great adventure and gives you time to enjoy the privilege of their company within their natural habitats. Kibale National Forest, Bwindi Impenetrable and Mgahinga National Park are some of our favourite forested spots for this exploration. More Dents mona monkeys, Black and white Angola monkeys live in Nyungwe forest.
