Martin Ngabirano

Guide

Martin Ngabirano

Martin is one of our senior tour guides with over 18 years of leading wildlife, birding and photography tours. His curiosity for nature and wildlife started at a young age when he would lead travellers visiting Mgahinga gorilla national park on village and nature walks. His favourite destination is Mgahinga gorilla national park for the giant gorilla tracking and watching the baby gorillas swing from the trees. Above all, Martin loves photography! outdoor fan, wildlife photographer and storyteller. A broad smile, humour and enthusiasm are his second nature, and he always has a story to tell. When he is not guided, he enjoys travelling with his family and discovering the wonders of Africa.

Here is praise from one of Chicago tour travellers.
“Martin was outstanding, and his knowledge of the country, primates and animals was beyond anything I expected. Also, he was fun to be with. With his skills in gorilla trekking and understanding of primates, we saw all of the monkeys and wildlife I didn’t expect to see. I would recommend him to anyone that was thinking of travelling on a tour in Uganda with Chigo Tours”.
